Gritting in Combe Down
Cherry and Roger were surprised that during the recent freeze roads on bus routes in Combe Down were not gritted, so they brought this to the attention of the council. With the result that tonight The Avenue, Church Road and Combe Road have been gritted. They have also asked for Foxhill, Queens Drive and Hawthorn Grove to be added to the gritting schedules.
There will be a Council review and a report to Safer and Stronger Communities Scrutiny Panel, so Cherry and Roger hope to see these Combe Down roads on the route of bus services 13 and 20a/20c added to the gritting schedules.
