The top of Summer Lane has been modified to indicate a crossing point. This is because the New Conservative Administration has cancelled the “Lolly Pop” crossing Patrol Officer, which is a loss for the Parents and Children of Combe Down Primary School.

Cherry has argued for more safety signage, as vehicles still tend to speed up the road, and residents have expressed concern, but has been told by the New Council that there is no money for this. On the plus side Cherry has got at least two more parking spaces provided by the red Pillar box on Church Road, with the new yellow lining having been repositioned at Cherry’s request.
